Located in Bloomington since the early 1990’s, Terry is employed as a music teacher and has been performing in music groups in the central Illinois area since the 1980’s. Styles of music he has covered in his musical career include: Classic to current Rock, Alternative, Pop, R&B, Blues, Jazz. His greatest influence in music was his father who played saxophone and clarinet and was a professional musician. Playing lead trumpet in jazz bands was an inspiration which motivated him into becoming a musician for life. Guitar and keyboards are the primary instruments he plays, but he also plays many of the brass, woodwinds, and a variety of string instruments. Terry uses Gibson, Fender & Takamine guitars. Fender and Marshall amps. Carl Martin Quattro effect. Kurzweil and Roland keyboards.
